I love math - it’s the base for beautiful design, structural integrity, art, architecture and the natural world <unapologetic math nerd here>.

My general approach to tutoring involves friendly support, meeting learners where they are, and spotting and remediating gaps.

I value independence and understanding, lifelong skill and not just passing a test. (But I also teach system hacks and score boosting for test prep, of course.)

Math Tutoring and Test Prep

By appointment only.

I tutor grades K-12 math, ACT, SAT, PERT, GRE, PSAT, and College-Level Intermediate Algebra, College Algebra, Precalc, and Trig.

I am well read and practiced with most learning differences, accommodations, SLD, dyslexia, dyscalculia, sensory sensitivities, and autism. I understand alternative educational philosophy, and am comfortable supporting homeschool/unschool students as well.

My test prep students from this past year attended Princeton, Georgetown, Purdue, UF, FSU, etc. I saw huge math score jumps from every starting level and I am an expert at spotting knowledge/skill gaps. Even for the most advanced students. I usually have a backstock of practice books to borrow in between sessions.

My dedicated home office in Jonesville, FL is stocked with books, supplies, and manipulatives, and is a good fit for most learners. I also do Zoom/Facetime/Google Meet appointments as needed.

Educational Consulting

Educational auditing, curriculum and lifestyle design, coaching, mentoring. Expert guidance for individualized instruction.
